I wasnât criticizing Murray at all, if thatâs how it came across. He and Colin Chapman have been my two main heroes since I was a kid. They were pretty much the models for what I was trying to do before my career took its current huge deviation. My point was only that he did not follow a typical âdesignâ path. Iâm putting design in quotes because most car designers are really stylists and care little about the engineering inside, at least in my experience.
