I am an active member of the Design & Emotion Society and I can tell you that a lot is going on right now in understanding the emotional impact of products, brands and interactions. In my Master’s research which focused on emotion in interactive products, I found that it was mostly possible to evoke emotions through visual elements. Interaction proved to be really complex to analyze.
