edit a 3d curve

when editing a 3d curve… how do you constrain your modification in one plane or another. Currently I have 360 modifiability (let me use that word).

I know I can constrain one end of a handle to z x or y. I want to constrain to a specific plane without going to a view plane. W/O looking at it square on. I like to keep in 3d you know.

What software are you in?

Solidworks

when creating, use in a 3D sketch to toggle XY-YZ-ZX constraints…not sure about editing, but give it a try.

3d sketch elements can be constrained similar to 2d sketch elements via the geometric relations menu. As always, different constraints are valid depending on sketch element, point, handle, plane, etc.
