For the past 18 months I’ve been working with on their product development process, product portfolio, marketing creative direction, and team mentoring. They have been a fun client and working on architectural wall and ceiling systems has been a new category for me with a lot of learnings because of the unique sales channel and product cycle. Most of their products are made out of a non woven recycled PET board that has a felt like appearance and bit of flex but is relatively hard like a board. It can be CNC machined but also cut with a utility knife. I thought it would be a fun experiment to work up a furniture concept with the material outside of our project scope a concept. This is something far outside the company’s sales channel and strategy, so just a little experiment.
