I was about to take the Salary survey - but I saw that the survey listed Interaction Design and Web Design as the same category. Does that seem misleading or incorrect to anyone else?
In my experience, Interaction Design (well, at least in the job market and in schools) is somewhat removed from Web Design…
What was the thinking on this one?

Somewhat removed, but not very far. Chances are if you throw out a job offer for an interaction designer the vast majority of people you get walking into your office will have been involved in the web field.
True that. Although, I got my PhD in Interaction Design - and not to knock web designers in the least but it’s not the same thing by a long shot! The pay is hugely different… I think this salary category is mislabeled, which is a shame.
