What does “Design Research” really mean ? Are there actually jobs specific to this, and do you have any examples?
I’ve found my strengths in ID are Research, Brainstorming, (basically working with people to find solutions).
I’m considering Grad school because I feel like ID doesn’t stop here (under grad going into Sr. year). I’d like to use my design skills beyond products. I think-its confusing. I enjoy the initial process so much more than the nit-picking and refining and countless hours of solidworks.
Does anyone understand what i mean? What suggestions do you have?
