Start with the correct spelling of those universities.
Please back off on the high-horse language references. We have a global community of varying language comprehension. There is a very good chance that Mancho has a significant grasp of more than one language which is more than most on here can claim.
If I dont write as good as other people… I´m sorry about it, English is not my first Language and of course I have to improve a lot!! a lot! (but at least english is not the only languate I can speak, or write… huh?)
Dont post comments wich has nothing to do with what I´m asking… please, I just need some help here and hear all about australian design.
show some respect, and again, sorry for the spelling and the writing.
Hi,
The design industry in Australia is relatively small but very good.
Your best start is to look at the Design Institute of Australia website: http://www.dia.org.au/
You can get links to design agencies to get an idea of their work.
The Austrlian Design Awards website is a good resource to see recent products designed in Australia: http://www.designawards.com.au/
The designer-maker industry is quite strong too. Here’s a website for an annual exhibition in Sydney:
I know University of Canberra is very good. Swinburne also has a good reputation. Any study you do in Australia will definately be recognised internationally. The best part about studying here is the lifestyle. It’s a very relaxed place and the cost of living is not too bad.
misspelling the name of a school etc. has nothing to do with one’s command of a foreign language. It is simply a sign of sloppiness. Asking others to do what one could quickly accomplish by checking a few pages in core77 is a sign of laziness. If we abuse this forum as a platform to celebrate sloppiness and laziness, it will quickly deteriorate, taking away anybody’s motivation to look here for meaningful information.
So where is the info Macho was asking for in the first place?
I’m guessing the prof speaks at least 2 languages. His spelling and grammar are far better than mine. I agree that we should all do are part to be professional, as long as we do not discourage communication.
hi Mancho, thanks for your post few years back. i am currently facing the same problem here in 2008 haha. So i hope your experience itself can guide me to a better decision too. Thanks
