Why has the forum been so slow lately? There isn’t that much activity in here any more.
yeah, I haven’t really seen much that’s been interesting. I’ve been out of school for over 6 years now, and maybe I’m just getting a little cooked.
At the same time, though, I’m pretty focused on a huge side project of mine. It’s hard to find time to work on it, as I’ve taken so much freelance work that it’s slowly killing me. At what point do you raise your rates? My freetime is becoming more and more valuable.
My apologies for hijacking the thread. Things are slow on the forum! Here are some words to think about:
If Lewis and Clark hadn’t had a goal, the French would own Vegas
Really?
I think the Spaniards would have owned it before it was revolutionized and appropriated to the republic of mexico… it is Las Vegas, not Le Vegas after-all… and Milwaukee could have been “America’s playground”… you know, what happens in Milwaukee stays in St Louis…
I think everyone is just at the IDSA national… OK, not funny.
Yo, I believe you could be right about the IDSA National Conference currently drawing all the attention of our peers. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time nor the money to attend the IDSA National Conference this year. If I did it would be out of my own pocket and vacation time. My company is small with a small minded mentality. They would never think of sending their only designer to a network with others. Maybe next year I’ll be in a different situation, financially and employment wise. Hopefully whoever is there is having a great time.
I know I have posted this in the “Sketching” forum, but why is the link down for http://www.designsketching.com? I really want to buy this book.
