Damascus steel bushcraft saw

I helped this startup to design a foldable saw aimed at bushcrafters. What typically is a plastic cheapo product, we made a top quality saw with a wooden handle. Taking queues from knives and axes, this saw can age with dignity. The original design went on sale around Christmas, and can be found at

As a gag, they made a prototype with Damascus steel blade. It turned out beautiful, super durable, and of course crazy expensive for a saw (some would say). It’s also probably the first saw ever to be made with this steel so it’s an opportunity to own something very unique. That’s why Woxna decided to run it as a Kickstarter to guarantee MOQ. The company is bootstrapped and doing everything out of own pocket, so if you know someone who would be interested in this (or a “regular” pruning/bushcraft saw) please forward to them. And if any core77-front-page-writer is seeing this.. wink wink.

I’m an ex-colleague of the founders, but not part of the company. I was paid as a freelancer, and would like to see them succeed. Will be happy to answer any design-related questions regarding this.
