[color=darkred]complete ug course at nift or shift right awa

hi…im currently studying accessory design (Fashion and Lifestyle Accessories) at National Institute of Fashion Technology, India…am getting the chance to shift to a good univ like Florence Design Academy at Italy and start from scratch…would be really grateful if u can tell me if giving up my present course right now is a good idea…the other choice is to finish this and go in for a masters course after one and a half years (when this course is done). My present course is an undergraduate diploma. PLEASE HELP ME OUT…

THANK YOU…

as a rule of thumb, moving is always good

i guess if u r doing well here and are liking the course, go in for a masters abroad instead of doing an undergrad. by the time, attune yourself with what you would like to specialise in. Its a personal opinion though, coz i have been in situation like this. Well if you are in NIFT Delhi, then I was your close neihbour, at IIT Delhi, Master of Design Course.NIFT is the best in India and accessory design is a partyicularly good course here from what vibes I have caught, as of now. So weigh ur pros and cons very very analytically

what a nice neighbor u are to us niftians abhi, in that u will not even accpet us for the master’s at IIT , Delhi , coz we are diploma holders!
in my opinion u shud just shift n move away , coz i have been a similar situation.
the albatross of having a diploma will hang bloody heavy down ur neck , n many good univs in the US will not even look at the diploma when u apply after a few years… as for finishing ur program n then taking up a job in India, well u can only reach a certain level , work ur ass off , n still make only half of the money that an average and mediocre MBA here would.
passion is one thing , reality is another.
so move while u still can , besides the options outside are wider , if not better !

ok guest, point noted, but that does not mean u have to9 reiterate by sending it twice

anyway, i still think u should not waste your years, and whats the guarantee u’ll get ‘mba plus’ sal after coming from abroad with a degree in ur hand. I still believe whats in your mind regulates what comes into ur pocket.

Analyse your options again, maybe take a more specialised opinion than ours, talk to the univ guys and ask abt their placement.

In my country we have a saying that trips enrich your mind. Personally I would go for it. Don’t worry about starting from scratch. It’s an experience. You already know what you know, this will be helpful.

I am planning to study in Italy for semester or two. I have a wife and a family but I know that going to another country will enrich my mind and my portfolio. I also know it’s temporary. I don’t know what your situation is but it sounds like you have your road cut out. I don’t have the money to go right now but I know I will manage somehow. Because I want it to happen.

Ask yourself what you really want in your heart, you know the answer.

I wish you best of luck. In bocca al lupo!

Oh, yeah, study Italian… but that’s obvious.
