CMU's associate Dean of Fine Art/ID Switched to CINCINNATI

I just found out that the former Associate dean of the Carnegie Mellon School of Fine Arts and professor of Design(Craig Vogel) is now at University of Cincinnati.

Here is is resume:

M. Vogel is currently the Associate Dean of the School of Fine Arts and a Professor in the School of Design at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He previously served as Co-chair of the Visual Communications Department for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is the current Chair of the Board of the 2,900-member Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), where he serves as Chief Advisory Officer and a member of the planning and executive committees. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the WORLDESIGN Foundation.

This was quite a catch for University of Cincinnati. They have been snagging some top talent over the years.

taxguy,

You may find these interesting: current resume, the Research Institute at UC that Vogel heads up, and recent grant award.
