anyone doing CAD work to pay the bills? There seems to be a lot out there. Wondering if they usually want you to know the ansi method.
Companies usually follow a standard. It will usually be ANSI or ASME. I have not done CAD work on the side but if it is a small company they will probably be ok with a different method as long as you state it on the drawing .

INTERPRET DRAWING PER ASME Y14.100-2007.
thanks , any good resources for boning up on those standards, are they tough to get to know? never really adhered to one totally before.
variant, what is more tedious graphic design or CAD? done, both but not heavy duty graphic design where you doing book layouts dealing with mucho text, always wondered.
