Books to prepare for Graduate Degree

HI all,

I’m going to start my Master degree in design, and
since I’ve been working in a quite a distant field in the past 5 years,
I might need to catch up / prepare myself prior to begin my Master degree classes.

It would be great if you Graduate students can share what books you’ve read when you starting your Graduate journey.

There are libraries full of applicable books - help us narrow it down a bit and tell us what your thesis is, or at very least, the feild your conducting your research in.

I’m planning to do a thesis on user interface for electronic / interactive media,
or along that line. Any recommendation?
