I am looking to buy billet Aluminum and large blocks of Nylon and Rhen for CNC applications. Can anyone suggest where to purchase this stuff in billet form? Ryerson sells Aluminum billet.
And you call large blocks of Aluminum Billet… what do you call large blocks of Rhen or Nylon6?

I’m not sure where you are, but I’m guessing there’s a local metal supply shop. While you can certainly go to McMaster (which is actually local for me) or someplace like http://www.speedymetals.com/, a local place should be able to get anything you want if they don’t have it in stock, and many make daily deliveries around the city. So if you’re near someone who’s getting a delivery anyway it can be pretty cheap (I think it was like $5 shipping in 1 or 2 days for a big hunk of aluminum from http://speedmetals.com/ in Cleveland) or you can pick it up to get it even faster.
And I think you call large blocks of nylon etc “blocks,” perhaps “large blocks.” I don’t think I’ve heard another word for it.
