I’m (again) perusing the product designer landscape for one IDer interested in a unique direction, as I very slowly inch myself toward the development of a Private Product Development/Commercialization Retreat in the backwoods of north Idaho. As some of you may recall, I am a Licensing Agent/Product Commercialization Consultant (not a deep-pocket guy that can make all the magic happen with a checkbook) ) looking to expand the on-site scope of services to include product design/prototyping by partnering with a freelancer. A thought - I have a caretaker’s apt on the acreage and if that caretaker was also a freelance IDer - that works. If living in the forest is your thing - it would’t hurt to talk. Development of a Retreat where design firm IDer groups can break away from the day-to-day routine and escape to a retreat to work-through a deep-dive - well, that is one of the retreat pieces I am exploring.
