Looking for conferences…Are there any conferences for interface design ?

For Interface Design (visual interfaces) I’d probably look at HOW or AIGA.

For Interaction Design (behavioral interfaces) the two obvious choices are SIG-CHI and IXDA INTERACTIONS. There’s a nice events calendar here: UX Design Meet-ups and Local Groups | Welcome to the IxDF Community
