It used to be worse when all forums were opened to unregistered users.

i can’t use my registerd name because it has expired some time ago, and i cannot use my current email address to log in, or create a new one, so i am locked out.
just because someone posts as a guest dosn’t make the posting any less significant. most of the posters that use registerd names on these threads are frankly IMO more often than not completely full of shit and uninformed and arrogent; inlcuding a few of the posts i’ve seen from you mr. ludwig.
don’t make your insecurity a community problem.
I don’t think it’s a question of how much people know, so you guys don’t have name, that doesn’t tell me you know nothing, I hope you know more than some of the idiots here, not naming any names. it’s really annoying though, we don’t have any frame of reference to whom we’re speaking to if it’s just guest.
And sorry to say, but if a person can’t figure out how to get a screen name here, maybe they’re the uniformed ones. there’s no such thing as locked out, it’s the freakin internet, can’t use your e-mail account, open a new one, hotmail, yahoo, flippin wherever. Maybe you guests are just idiots, you don’t understand how to navigate the internet beyond getting to core77.com

uhh, yes there is such a thing as being locked out i.e. having no access because my email address is used with another user name and password that is no longer ‘active’. i have tried to create new user names and passwords, and even tried logging in to my old one with no luck.and no i’m not going to creat and manage superfluous email accounts just to post on this oh so priveleged board.

I HAVE TRIED to log in, but whenever I do it, I`m told that my username is not active. I have tried to contact the forum administrator, but the mails I send keep on bouncing back. I even opened a forum to complain (“How can I contact the forum administrator?”).
SO I guess there must be lots of people like me! PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!!
Although I have been reading core for a long time, I do not feel part of the community, I don’t feel like I belong. I guess i feel like a…erm…guest.
for the guest above that typed that they felt like they didnt belong maybe they could post why. an we could solve this problem.
I think guest or registered users should feel welcomed.

well, you’re posting as An Idiot, so I guess I would know you for who you are and what you say. but if there’s ten guests none of them will be known for anything, what they say, yes will be known “thank god for that” but they, will not be known. does that make sense?

so you’re saying you have no e-mail address, you can’t send and recieve e-mail, that’s fine either can my grandmother, but if you can’t get into your e-mail account, why not open a new one, and if you did how would it be considered “superfluous” it would just be your new e-mail account, that you could use to communicate, send porn to your friends, etc., and to become a regestered user here. This stuff isn’t difficult

I think this going off topic, my bad!! the whole guest situation is really stupid though. Previous guest, please explain why you remain a guest. Make some sense of it for me.
and what made me a dork? where did my baggage come from? I’m just tired of guest postings like I’m sure a lot of people are on this forum, and An Idiot would rather point out puntuation mistakes than discuss the issue. I want to understand the mindset of the “guest” maybe then I’ll pay more attention to what they have to say
1- If you can not log in, anyone can “sign” a posting at the end.
2- If you want to guest post, that is cool. In the end, no one knows who I am. My screen name might mean to someone on another board. More than likely not here.
3- But let us think on a positive level. If you post as a guest, and you are super smart…how can someone PM you with further quetions? Posting a thread with " paging guest "will not get you far.
aren’t these forums suppose to exist to create a unity between members, their ideas, thoughts as well as brilliant rants? never the less…no matter where you go, there’s some poor unhappy sole searching for a way to start shit. not only that, misery loves company. it’s not too unfamiliar to see, trust me. it’s sad to see people indemnify themselves with “guest” sn’s but to each his own. who are we to say that someone has to identify themselves…not one of us is who they say they are, even you mr. ludwig.
