Thats cool. I’ve heard about it being done that way for bags and shoes.
In shoes we will often drape material on the last to see how they lay, pin it together, and see how they flex. A little more oldschool, but the same idea.
This was a very simple bag constuction, so it was a more simple process of making sure we could fit everything we wanted, and then lux out the materials and hardware.
