I came across this new course “Advanced Design Visualization” http://www.dh.umu.se/default.asp?sida=657 offered at Umea institute of design, Sweden. I went through the course contents but was not able to figure out how much the course will help a designer?
My queries are
How good is the course? In what way it is helpful to a designer, is there a need for seperate course on visualisation.
I would think the answer is obvious if you have ever pitched your designs to non designers.
Designers have to be salesmen to convice others their design solutions are viable and worth doing. The better you communicate your idea, the more likely you will be successful. The more unique your method of presentation is, the more likely people will pay attention.
