Haworth cuts 30 jobs in Holland

HOLLAND – Haworth eliminated 30 salaried jobs at its Holland location this week, along with 20 more at a facility in Canada.

The company says its difficult time, and they had to cut the jobs because of economic conditions. However, the company says it remains optimistic about business.

*maybe the contract furniture industry plateaued…

that’s not really that many jobs for a company like haworth.


industry should be good again in, hmmm, 2012?

I’m assuming, at least in the US, that contract would be down as office real estate is tanking pretty hard right now.
