I am an Industrial Designer with five years of working experience in product design. Recently, I finished a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing, focusing on consumer behavior, brand strategy, and consumer research with the idea of getting into the design research & consumer research area, but I am having a hard time finding companies that want a candidate with both areas in the resume, design & market research. Most companies want either a designer or a researcher.
Any suggestions? I am willing to learn new skills with a company, but I don’t want to get into an entry-level position. I am located in Massachusetts.
