Re: What is it like to be a car designer?

ill also add, watch out - as some "car designers" i know become disillusioned quickly as they can end up doing nothing but a specific design section for the car.

i.e knobs, nothing but knobs, day in day out, knobs, knobs and more knobs.....

I created a character and though i would pretend the character would journal the adventure so i chose to cr...

Re: Yo! 2017 sketch a day

starting to think more about the book layout, title, and dust jacket. I'm curious to know why you think your sketch-a-day work is of the quality to deserve a book -- what has really has improved from January 1 until today to show a progression in quality or technique? I appreciate the willpower to ...

Re: The Instant Pot

There is always something to be said for taking a product that was very utilitarian, and works amazingly and do nothing more then truly simplify its use. i.e all that has truly been added is a simple timer per various items. Although i did love waiting for the weight to start too wiggle and jiggle a...

Re: What are your sketching shortcuts?

If i want to do a tighter sketch - i will sometime lay down a few CAD surfaces to ensure i am 95% dimensional accurate and blend them into the sketch- but i only do this after my initial rough sketches and have a clear understanding of where i want to take that concept. Or in reverse if i have sever...
