Marking up sketches

Wondering what other peoples work flow is: Currently when i get a series of sketches they are provided a a PDF - nice simple all compiled - but Acrobate really sucks i.e the pen tool. So what i currently do is save out the pdf as individual jpegs - then open each image in sketch book to redline and ...

Re: 3D printer for my home

I'd advise on getting the Prusa over the CR-10. Because direct drive. If you'll ever want to print flexible materials (and you will) you'll need a direct drive (not a bowden type) machine. I have a TEVO Black Widow myself. Good luck, let me know if you have any questions. Holtag and everyone, thank...

3D printer for my home

Okay i know this topic shows up all the time, i wanted to see if there are any recommendations for a home 3D printer I have landed on the one below - but i am far from being a expert in this area. My goal is to stay under $1000.00 (this unit has one at a g. with a 24"x24" print) but i like the 500 d...

Defining Value for Concept exploration work

I am going to add more to this in order to provide better insight - but at a high level i have asked if i can create a formula that helps better to define what the ROI is on upfront concept development - a project that is purely exploratory in the the sense that we think we have identified a problem...

Re: ID intern - is it too late

because we have tx rules and restrictions. the "intern" must be a full time student at the time of the internship - no way around it unless i hire them as a full time employee for 6 months. Ah I see. That's a shame. So there is no way to hire an intern that is not in school? This is quite a strange...

ID intern - is it too late

So,

I am thinking of bringing on a ID intern for the end of the fall semester - this may either be a summer internship or a summer/semester long internship.

I am wondering if i am too late to the game in the sense that the top talent already have internships all lined up.......

Thoughts......

Re: Unexpected places your designs have shown up

i would say it depends on how it is highlighted....... and the value or emphasis placed on the product placement. i.e the heater - not a chance in hell the sales went up ;)
