Re: New tabs

Hi - do you mean when you click on the individual forum links in the "Forums" drop down of the navigation? Or do you mean clicking on a link inside a blog post? Or do you mean clicking on an individual forum topic in the 'Discussion Board' section on the home page? My front end developer is out toda...

Re: Core77 Blog picture size problem

Based on your feedback we have updated the icon, replacing the magnifying glass with the slideshow icon. Hopefully this will be less confusing to readers.

Re: Core77 Blog picture size problem

Hi Fatihy, Clicking on images in the blog post will show all images in any given post on a black background, with no text. The intent is to quickly show all the images as a sort of slide show. When a writer uploads images, they can choose to show them in three sizes - small, medium or large. In the ...

Re: What is a valid Location (in user profile)?

Hi - we use Google Maps API to validate locations, so anything recognized by that will work. If you enter just your city name it should automatically add some additional info. If you put in just a country name it will leave that alone. Seems that a region, like "Scandinavia" is too general. Reply he...

Re: No comments on "Firm Projects" for Patagonia undies etc.

Hi - the Design Firm Projects section is using content published at DesignDirectory.com and surfacing it at Core77. We created this section mostly as an effort to get greater visibility and exposure for the projects and firms at Design Directory. We're not adding any editorial - the projects are pul...

Re: Deleted my post?

Hi - I just want to clarify a few things here. Shaggy stated: Currently if a comment gets 3 downvotes it gets removed This is not accurate. If a comment receives multiple downvotes it is "flagged for moderation". When this happens the comment is removed from the stream, and is put into the moderatio...

Re: Easy link back from Coroflot to Core77

You are correct that there is no permanent link back to Core77 from Coroflot. For a long time we wanted to drive traffic one-way, without worrying about return traffic. But this seems out of line now that I'm thinking about it. If nothing else we should list Core77 as a 'partner' site along with the...

I'll be there

Core77 will be running the portfolio review on Thursday and Friday. How about a Core77 meet up on Thursday night? Anyone? Bueller? Anyone? I know nothing about Phoenix. Is there a cool western dive with a yard and bonfire that we can take over? Or will we be prisoners at the resort? In which case, i...

It's not furniture but....

I bought a 74 Fender Telecaster in fairly mint condition, with the original case and documents, at a tag sale 3-4 years ago for $150. It is awesome and after having it set up for another $150 it plays like brand new. It's worth about $2400 or so!

Conference Sponsorship

As a conference sponsor, I can say that Core77 is happy with our participation in the conference. The Portfolio Review was fun, interactive, and provided a great vehicle for connecting with both sides of our audience (portfolio posters and potential employers). It is a great fit for us, and also hel...

advertising

Of course it depends what industry you are targeting. I've heard good things about Appliance Design magazine (http://www.ammagazine.com/)
