Re: New Nike Vapormax - wait, what happened here?

It is a bit odd. I've seen quite a few laceless knit things. So its nothing new. https://m0.sportsjoe.ie/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/02150555/adidas-ace16-img1-1024x581.jpg https://hypb.imgix.net/image/2017/11/adidas-ultraboost-laceless-nude-blue-2.jpg?w=1755&q=90&fit=max&auto=compress%2Cformat https...

Photobooth equipment would be awesome. Lights, Cameras, Sweeps, Turntable, Microphones, etc . Mini content creation space.

Photogrammetry set up if it has to be "cutting edge" tech.

Foldio 360 is nice too.

Re: Confidentiality broken?

Also, some clients are secretive about who designed the project. I have projects that are out in the open, but can't say I worked on them. Usually, this is all laid out in the initial proposal though.

Re: Core77 Q&A with DIY-er Ben Uyeda: Send Your Questions

Sain, thanks for these great questions! We'll be sure to send them Ben's way. For anyone else interested in asking Ben a question, you have until this Friday (July 28th!) to submit. Updated my question to have a specific example. Not sure if you already asked, but I made #1 a bit more specific to B...

Re: Core77 Q&A with DIY-er Ben Uyeda: Send Your Questions

That's pretty much what we all do. True, but Ben has monetized what we do in a different way. It's something I really want to do eventually seems like a good way to make a bit of extra income (or full time) documenting the process of my side projects. I don't see anyone here asking Ben for material...

Also if you ever want to grab a coffee with another Seattle-based freelance ID designer let me know. Only been in the city a few months, but always good to meet people in the area.

Re: What bag do you use/recommend?

I'm a fan of My GoRuck Gr1. http://www.goruck.com/gr1-rucksack-black-/p/GEAR-000574 It's traveled with me all over the world and looks just as good as day 1. The (minimal) molle is super nice so I can add things as needed. I needed a tripod holder. So I used the side molle for a water bottle holder ...

I lost my IEMs, UE TripleFi 10's, when my bag got stolen awhile ago. So I have been using whatever I had around, HiFiman stuff and whatever work samples we had. But I just got these. as an early Christmas present. Zero Audio ZH-DX200-CT. Better known as the Carbo Tenore's https://images-na.ssl-image...

Re: EmanMade – Beginnings of a YouTube channel

Wow so I started this in April. I have slowly been chipping away at this and have learned a ton in the few videos I've tried to make. There's a lot of video production stuff I had zero idea about before getting into this, but I've slowly been picking it up. Hoping to do this more consistently in the...

Do you consider yourself a Businessman first that understands the design process/pipeline. Or a Designer First that knows how to run a business.

WSMI. I got to see that exhibit at the Franklin Institute and loved it. The Revolve and Extrude shapes exhibit was my favorite. Very cool way to show those concepts. The entire thing was very well done.
