The only clipboard problem I have is that it gets full and bogs things down. I just save the file periodically, close it and then reopen it. That tends to clear things up. FYI I timed my machine against a friends. Identical machines. The only difference is that I was running Fusion and he was runnin...

Rhino problem

This is probably something really simple, but I haven't found the answer. I'm in the perspective view and I'm just trying to make a simple curve on an object...but every curve I make sticks to the C Plane. ?!?!?! This just started last night at a point when I had had enough for the day. I must have ...

FYI: I've just read that you can actually suspend a VM that uses a boot camp partition. It's just that the SUSPEND feature is disabled by default. You can enable it, BUT if you were to suspend a VM and then try and reboot in XP through boot camp you corrupt the install and have to reinstall. Did you...

This hasn't been pointed out.... I have an XP installation on my MBP via Bootcamp. When I installed VMware Fusion, it gave me the option to use my bootcamp partition as my virtual machine. Basically, I can boot into windows via bootcamp, or if I don't need the full speed and graphics, I can boot th...

So, has anyone had the opportunity to use some kind of processor-intensive software (rhino, solidworks, alias, etc...) on Windows from Bootcamp and then from either Fusion or Parallels? I haven't yet had the opportunity to try both methods for a comparison. Probably won't have that chance until Sept...

Boot Camp vs. VM Ware Fusion

I bought a MacBook Pro a few months ago and I absolutely love it. But I didn't really like the idea of having to reboot each time I time wanted to switch between OS-X and XP, so I bought VM Ware Fusion. I feel a little dumb for not having fully considered the ramifications of doing that. When you bo...

That is a fantastic result. I may use this to strengthen my argument for an interdepartmental collaboration between ID and ME grads at my school.

It doesn't really matter if go with Hydrogen or Electric power. Unless you're somehow generating sufficient power of your own somehow (not likely) you are dependant upon "The System." Hydrogen could and likely would be centralized the same way oil is, and, unless you live on a freakin' wind farm, wh...

What is going o with that kink in side glass? Not to mention the butt crack looking crease on the top: http://www.carbodydesign.com/archive/2007/07/30-peugeot-308-rc-z-concept/Peugeot-308-RCZ-Concept-3.jpg :| At the risk of sounding crass...that looks to me like more of a camel toe than a butt crack.

What would such a vehicle absolutely need? I can think of quite a bit. I was thinking that a vehicle like this would have so many applications in Disaster Releif that it could be made modular and outfitted as needed to better meet a specific need. It could serve as a cargo truck, an ambulance (or an...

Bwaaahahahahaha.......that's great. <<right click, save picture as>> I saw it on tv a few times. It didn't look like anything at all. That pic makes it look like Sato's head is knocked forward, but he was actually shifting around in the cockpit and making to get out (which takes some doing). In the ...

After that huge ass post I realized it had absolutely nothing to do with the original question. Grassroots vs. F1? They both have their place and their appeal frankly. Just like spec vs. non-spec. Sometimes you just want to see some guys race. Other times you want to see the really big shots race. S...
