Re: Thinking of getting a new ride

You can also buy the race version of the Micra from Nissan and race at the Grand Prix! Looked like tons of fun.

Re: Logitech's new cloths

I like the now look, though it is a bit microsoft-y but that makes sense with the new CDO. To me the old logo really looked dated and the new one is a fresh start to target a younger generation, though will that cannibalize any of the UE demographic? I think with the design of the keyboard in the vi...

Re: CALIFORNIA here I come !...

Agreed, route 1 can be pretty treacherous. A good place to stop is Andrew Molera State Park, beautiful views and you can get to the water. The lighthouse and bridge are around there too. Have you tried looking on AirBnb for SF accommodations?

Don't feed the trolls. No one ever comments on his stuff, more just a cry for attention.

Re: Euro 2016 football boots

Give some context to the designs. You'll be better results if you explain why the look like they do.

Also, work on the proportions as well. They seems to look a little droopy.

Re: Improving on verbal presentation?

I struggle with the same issue. One of my problems is that sometimes I forget to breathe and then finding myself having to pause for a moment, interrupting the flow. As it is something I know I need to work on, I have been doing practice runs with my boss to fully flush out what I am going to say du...

Re: How to mount this spherical bookshelf?

Like others said, Keyhole fittings to go into the back of the shelving unit.

But also, the wall anchor is going to be important as well. I would use a heavy duty wall 'Toggler" or a self drilling wall anchor. They can hold a lot of weight and wont blow out of the wall.

Re: Traits of Highly Successful Design Students

The most successful co-student of mine, today,- is a guy who treated the exhaustive and demanding program of our faculty as a Bus and the Professors as busdrivers. It was just a vehicle to get him were he strived to be. He always delivered mediocre but tolerable project work on time, didn't take to...

Re: Looking for good dress boots/shoes

I have worn these for about 6 months now, reasonably priced and they fit well. I have the black version but they also come in brown.

Just a heads up, and hopefully nothing is wrong with the site, but I got this notice when I went to look at your site. I saw it yesterday before you changed to the custom domain link and it worked fine. bengt.JPG From what I can recall yesterday, I thought that the full bleed template was really nic...

Re: My shoes journal

Poetrimarsela, your rendering looks really great. Nice job! I would work on the shadow some though under the sole; it is too heavy and you are losing a lot of definition in the sole. This may allow you to add some highlights to that area as well. Also, the background image is competing with your sho...

Re: Mattress shopping......why all the BS?

Another thing to consider too, and I found this out when I was buying a mattress. You need to bargain with the sales people on the price. I read that you should ask for 50% of what they are listed as (even if they are already having a 50% off sale). When I did that I ended up getting around 40% extr...
