Re: Conference Preference?

Hi - we've actually had to postpone the 2017 Core77 conference until 2018. We were/are planning to do the event in Chicago, and had a good space and the beginnings of a good team and plan in place. Unfortunately other priorities have come up and we're not able to execute a full event like this durin...

Re: Login problems

Hi there Bomb446. Your forum account was marked as "inactive" which was causing the problem. I reset it to "active" and it should be fine now. Not sure why you were set to inactive? Sorry for the problem.

Re: Every time I see this I want to scream

The way those nav blocks work is that each item is floated left, with a right margin of 30px. This way the whole thing is fluid, as the width of those bounding boxes change depending on the overall width of the browser window. We could put all the choices in a single column, like this: Screen Shot 2...

Re: The page doesn't exist

Hi - this issue has been fixed. I'm testing it now with this reply and it seems to be working properly. Thanks for mentioning this, as we were aware of the problem but it had fallen off the radar. When we looked into it last week it turned out to be the symptom of a larger, more systematic issue. So...

Re: Every time I see this I want to scream

Hi - we changed the order of the items in that nav box, which should prevent that gap from appearing. The issue is more due to the length of the words in there than in a missing rule or style. Hopefully this keeps the screaming to a minimum.

Most Used / Most Important Design Software

Hi Everyone. We're working on a project here at Core77, and one of the topics under discussion is creating a list of the most popular, most frequently used, most important design software among our audience. This is a very informal poll, but if people could list the three most frequently used softwa...

Re: New core77 UI

Hi everyone. It is going to take some time to address all the items raised in this thread. For now I'm working on itemizing them and understanding what the root causes are. Login issues are definitely a concern. Just now I logged in and experienced a "post does not exist" error. Seems like there is ...

Re: Core77 Podcasts

Hi Mas,

Just wanted to let you know that Don Lehman, who produces the Afterschool podcasts, has been on hiatus with other projects (one of which will be announced next week, hint hint)

The podcasts will resume within the next few months.

Thanks,
