Re: Need a new ride, budget edtion

I bought a 2009 Honda Fit Sport and love it. I'm a big VW golf fan, but we're no...

Re: Canadian looking for ID school

Just wanted to say that I'm a University of Montreal graduate and it's a good program. IMO the language doesn't change anything to the qualification of it's graduates and the quality of the education. Great designers have come out of the school and continue to do so, so I don't know if you've really...

Re: # of graduating students in Canadian ID schools?

At Université de Montréal in 2008, we were about 50 graduates and started out 75. Université du Québec à Montréal isn't just ID, they call it environmental design and mix ID with interior, architecture, etc. Dawson is a college, not University. Cegep de Ste-Foy, also a college, has about 20 graduate...

I would always like to see University of Montreal included in the conversation, even if there's a language barrier issue...

Let me be the first one you meet then. ;)

It's true that most of us stay in Quebec for companies like Bombardier, Mega Bloks, etc. A bunch go work in Europe to. That's probably why you haven't met UdeM graduates. With out being perfect, I'm very satisfied of the education I received.

I wonder why University of Montreal is never mentionned in these discussions. Probably the language barrier is a big factor.

Anyway their yearly expo is tomorrow and the website will be up and running at 17h.
