cool

I like how the skew shelves integrate the screw holes aesthetically. The parcel table is great in the smoked acrylic. One small criticism would be that your site's loose illustrations set up a slight disconnect when one first sees the (largely) linear nature of your pieces. overall nice collection t...

alot of designers use Corel Draw in China - have you tried it? If you have, how do you feel it compares with Illustrator?

Just asking because it seems like Corel has a dominant position here, and I was wondering why...

like it

I like the work you have there, it is strong. It would be interesting to see some work from your more recent jobs - your list of work experience and your sample portfolios pieces are a bit out of sync it seems. It wouldn't hurt to include one or two tamer more commercial pieces.

the one

Nice stuff; the "You Are The One" cast poster is a well-executed blurring of 3D/2D.

this guy does some of that too, bit simpler (one-linerish?) - he's dutch ;)

takes on assault weapon design

there are ladies versions of pistols, for smaller hands and spacesavings in the handbag, but manufacturers haven't explored the fashion aspect of it at all - I think there is plenty of room to fancy them up. With assault rifles the designer's canvas is just that much larger... Although America proba...

downloaded your pdf and tried it out - surprisingly it works! I thought the paper wouidn't be structural enough. I like the layout too, you could expand you product line from catapults to other paper weapons: http://www.linkclub.or.jp/~shun-pop/gallery1/IN/Din1.jpg http://www.linkclub.or.jp/~shun-po...

down with the big H

I'm down with the Hydrogen now in some ways - as you guys have mentioned the advantages are numerous - but I'm still a little skeptical about the amount of hype it is getting as a pollution free and efficient fuel. It is pitched as such now but isn't going to be that for quite a while. The point mad...
