Timberland to use "nutritional label" on product p

This is pretty awesome. Footwear can be pretty offensive to the environment because of a lot of the materials and inherent waste, so putting that info out there for everybody to see will keep the pressure on themselves to improve their processes. By extension, it may put added pressure on other companies to clean up their act, too.

It’d be cool if Nike would step up their “Considered” line of thinking and took a similar approach to Timberland. It would be a good indication of how well the ideas behind the Considered shoes are filtering down into the mainstream shoes.
