Newly Released Work (All Product Types)

Yes, the inventor’s original intent was for well-water supplied homes/businesses to have continued, pressurized water in the event of a power outage and/or a well pump failure. The system sits in automatic mode, so in the event of a power outage the system automatically responds, pressurizes a bladder inside the tank and provides up to 40 gallons of on-demand water as though the power outage didn’t occur. If the well pump fails (no power outage detected) then the user can put the system in override mode to act as though there’s no power, providing water until a new well pump can be installed.

We identified uses beyond the original scope for the inventor to pursue in parallel with his target consumers - For instance, because the system acts as a mini-water tower, providing clean, pressurized water on demand, it’s getting interest from businesses that require X amount of water-per-resident (assisted living facilities, hospitals, jails, etc). We encouraged the inventor to pursue new home builders, since the cost of a system like this is nothing baked into a new home’s mortgage and installation is easy and can be optimized. Lastly, we think a mobile, refillable version of this system, with a solar trickle charger for the battery, could be depolyed to help with interrupted power supplies due to natural disaster.
