Honestly I think about it often, probably TOO often. I can guarantee Amazon was already working on Echo, but it would have still been cool to have the possibility of internet attention from the idea 
Now in my portfolio people ask “Well why not just get something like an echo that can do so much more.” and I have to just bow my head and nod…
