I’m really digging this exercise. Do you find that doing your sketches on the iPad is making it easier to get one done a day? Or are you just really feeling digital at the moment?

It is actually making it harder right now as I’m transitioning. I also fall into the trap of making it a little more high res that I would if I was just doodling in my notebook. But all part of the fun! I like to make myself uncomfortable. :slight_smile:

Question about the linework-free slippers. . . when you do this exercise, do you put linework in first, then delete that layer later? Or is the purpose of the challenge to design without linework to begin with?

@Rob. Thanks. That semi really turned out.

@Sadie, I always do an “underlay” later that is a very loose sloppy sketch. Then I turn the opacity way down and do another sketch layer with very feighnt thin lines. Then render in grey scale. Then color.
