I don’t know if it is fair to clump all tattoos (visible or not) as being acceptable or unacceptable.
There are tasteful visible tattoos:
And then there are some that go too far:
I referenced both of these because they are the same basic idea, “I want star tattoos on my face”. One is tasteful and almost elegant, while the other is ridiculous.
