So I just bought a house. Well signed the contract. We still have the cooling off period and settlement of 6 weeks.
But I’m fairly confident with everything. It’s a great place with an acre in the Adelaide Hills. The only thing is that it’s a bit smaller than the place we’ve been renting and my partner works from home, so we need to use one of the two and a half bedrooms for her study.
This means no more big spare bed for guests. I’m thinking of getting an ikea sofa bed for a 1.6m x 3.6m study room. Also will have to buy/design a built in wardrobe for the master bedroom and build a pantry and some other storage.
I have visited apartment therapy and a few ikea hacking websites but if anyone has any other resources that might help, please let me know. I have access to a full cnc workshop here, so was thinking of creating a few items myself if it’s worth it.
