Inspirational Design Shorts

Every few months, I go back and watch that Royal Enfield video. I find it very inspirational!

Did someone post this one before?

wow,it’s so good!

A wee bit new agey, but some real thought gems:

This video is amazing. 10 minutes of the design and manufacturing of a Patek Grand Complication. The attention to detail is crazy.

I love people.
This has been doing the internet rounds this morning:

and in honour of the new Star Wars teaser out today, the most 1982 thing ever:

Narrated by Carl Sagan, each of the environments depicted is based on a real place in the solar system.

Interesting to see the mix of traditional and super modern methods of production for Beretta shotguns, also helps that it is nicely shot piece of cinematography. (Maybe overly dramatic, but cool to see regardless)

I found this great website, lots of manufacturing videos.

Bumping this topic back up!

Here is a quirky one. What i love is this guy’s willingness to just make first and think later to see what happens.

Having trouble imbedding the vimeo, anyone know what I’m going wrong here?

nice, I love the analogy to a fixie.

Loving this video by Hem on their easy to assemble furniture. Great to see a company showing the details rather than hiding them.

Hmm. Something went wrong there. Anyone know how to embed a vimeo link?

It used to work just like that, let me check.
