I don’t mind, it’s a good sausage. The 1 series was always kind of oddly proportioned, had that strange kink on the side skirts, and kind of a soft and dated Bangle feel to it.
Tightened up it makes for probably one of the nicest driving BMW’s since the E46 M3. Less weight, more power, in a sharp package can’t complain. The drop top will probably be a real treat too.
