Never had a gas stove, but absolutely loved the induction stove we had in the last place. Lightning quick, responsive and almost impossible to hurt yourself on.
Favorite trait is that any spill or mess can be cleaned up immidiately since the stove itself isnt hot, just lift the pan and swipe.
Currently saving up to get the kitchen upgraded in the new apartment. There are some with really nice features out there.
(gas has almost gone extinct in sweden, few apt buildings have that capability anymore)
