The gigantic fake grill on that ELR belongs on the skeuomorphism thread. The only real cooling inlet on the front of that car is the little slit below where the front license plate goes. Surely we can come up with something better to differentiate the front of a vehicle than an ersatz external radiator, something that stopped being used on cars in the 1930s. You might as well put a fiberglass horse in front of the thing.
