I have been using the Nexus 7 for a couple of weeks.
From packaging stand point, it is well built, and it feels just as good as any top tear manufacture’s products.
The optical bonding of the glass is very nice, and the screen is bright and very clear. It’s not Retina display resolution by any means, but the content is displayed clearly non the less. The value is very high, considering it’s a $200 product.
From ID stand point, I have two issues:

It’s very hard to distinguish the power button and the volume toggle button, as the shapes are practically identical, and they are located to close to each other. I often end up clicking the power as I try to adjust the volume, and this is very annoying.

Maybe I’m too used to Apple products, but I prefer having the Home button, as a hardware button with clear tactile details. Because you can rotate the tablet in different orientation, I believe being able to locate the feature with ease is critical. Capacitive buttons and soft buttons are not always prefered, IMHO.
