found out about this challenge a few days ago…went to micheal’s but they didn’t have play-doh…used model magic instead…hope that doesn’t disqualify me PLEASE!
Playdoh kicks-the given task was to recreate or reinterpret my favorite pair of shoes in play-doh, in one hour.
For my challenge, I rendered a video clip to record the footage of my process. I choose to sculpt and redesign my nike air shoes which have followed me for 3 years. Now the pair are so old and wear off, I feel like some weird plants or mushroom stuff would sit inside.
(The photo is taken a day after in order to give an effect that it’s cracked and old)

Hey,
Im submitting this entery for my brother. The power went out in our house and I said we should try to make our play-doh kicks. Mine failed but his was good. He went for his Nike Tiempo Soccer Boot. All black and white play-doh, with a bit of black and white rolled together to get some grey. Tools used were butter knifes, and small clay carving set (which wasn’t too helpful on soft play-doh). All done in Candle light, Lol.
The Puma women V Sandal :
One of the greatest challenges being the two arcs of unstable play-doh supported by another piece underneath -_-
But it worked! Not exactly ideal for a design to be done in one hour though…
I chose to model the Nike FreeRod. I have always joked that these where my play-doh shoes so when this competition rolled around i knew what i had to do.
