I was an ex-idsa member(and still am) when I heard Frank speak to a group of us back in Dec-2008 just as he was taking the reigns. The ideas and plans he had sounded really good, and actually got me interested in idsa again. And then… nothing. I wonder what happened. I often hear officers blame the lack involvement from members. Could this “you get what you put in” model be antiquated? Maybe the available means and opportunities to be involved are no longer in-line with what members are willing/able/desiring, so that the community has moved on to other networks.
With that said, I still receive the designbytes email news letter which usually has good content I’m interested in that I may or may not have already come across.
