This is the GoPack, and really I just tried to accomplish 2 things that I personally really want out of a backpack:

a dedicated, reinforced computer pocket to eliminate the need for a separate protective computer case

a removable pen/pencil holder. Something that is still part of the pack, so that it can be easily accessed while inside the bag, but can also be removed for easier use at a desk. This means that the pens and pencils can always live in one place, and the user doesn’t have to transfer them between a desktop penholder and his or her bag. Also this would be much easier to clean (no buildup of pencil shavings and other crap at the bottom of the pen pocket of the bag)
Then, of course, for school/every day use the water bottle holder and durable, water-resistant base are a must.
