Any local knowledge on Turin and Milan's "must sees&quo

I’m going to be in Milan and Turin for a few days in the second half of September and wondered if anyone could recommend places to visit to get an impression of the design and manufacturing breadth of these two cities.

I am particularly interested in Product and Furniture design.

Happy for any suggestions from good interiors to factory tours.

it was a few years ago I was in Milan, but I spent some time at Instituto Europeo di Design. They have a presence in both Milan and Turin. Everyone there was great and welcoming, I’m sure you could make contact with some students or faculty to help guide you to the happening showrooms.
