Knurling would be cool. I hate how vanilla most phones are now a days. Maybe knurling the bottom side edges so you know which way to hold the phone without having to look at it.
Maybe a machined pattern on the bottom half of the phone to break it up. Something like this. The pattern also saves time in machining the surface completely flat.
