Hello, first time posting here!
I am an Industrial Design student from Michigan and am currently attending Kendall College of Art & Design. Recently I have been doing a bit of research on VBL, or “Visual Brand Language.” I have been told by a few, more experienced designers that VBL is something that takes a while to understand and be able to pick out. I was wondering if anyone has any information on VBL, and any tips or just general knowledge you would like to share. Our project next semester is sponsored by a company who’s VBL is the core of their business and industry, so I want to get a leg up and start doing some work on my own outside of class. I’ve been looking at power tools, and of course automotive. What is your favorite VBL? What aspects of it are intriguing to you, and what makes it stand out as a strong VBL?
