Thoughts from an ID toolkit pint of view?

My opinion is that it would be great for tradespeople in softgoods/upholstery pattern measuring.

How does rolling the full length of an object easier than a tape?

That assumes you roll a straight line. I suppose you could use a ruler as a straight edge. ;)

A cool piece of technology to buy for fun but it seems like it would be less accurate and more of a hassle to use then the things it's meant to replace.
