I see this online and wonder if anyone uses them. To me it would be a much less costly version of a cintique.
Any thoughts?

As they say - you pay for what you get. While I haven’t used one the general consensus from internet reviews is that it’s worse in just about every way compared to a Cintiq, but it’s a quarter of the price so if you only have $500 and want a monitor you can sketch on, it will do the trick.
You can check out Google or amazon for some first hand reviews. IMO, a Cintiq is a pretty good investment, and if you really want to save some cash you can look for an older model on Ebay. If you’re still in school it’s hard to squeeze, but if you factor in the fact that it should last you for several years and into your professional life, you can think about which would be the better purchase.
