For those who attended the conference what are your comments (the good and the bad)?

I have been asked to try to get more North Americans to attend. Besides moving it away from US Thanksgiving (which is being done, Next year will be around Dec 6) and comments such as “free airplane tickets” which will not happen, what would be needed to get you interested in attending?
